Mimi keeps sending them to me.
For those of you raising teenagers attending youth group.....you know what I'm talking 'bout.
Apparently being "equally yoked" does come up quite a lot.
I think it means you have to wear matching skinny jeans.
Seriously, all they wear.
Hey Jude....always thought there was something very Old Testament about you.
This apparently would not creep the girls out??
Of course you do Ryan.
It's the getting up before my servants that's the real turn on isn't it?
Think this one is my favourite.
Or maybe this one's my favourite.
Whatever.
Orlando, Coffee AND the Word.
Hmm, triple threat.
Seriously, Gosling is the gift that keeps on giving.
God bless his cotton socks.
Love you more than my bible concordance,
Meredy xo

That Ryan Gosling....I might have to fight you over him ;) His face seems to lend itself to these, I've seen lots of others on Pinterest that make me laugh!! XX
ReplyDeleteHa haha hahahaha!! Thanks for sharing!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Meredith, I LOVE these!! I'm totally sharing this.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest Meredith and say that these bother me and I hope you don't mind me asking who exactly is designing them and circulating them and why? Are they seriously real pick up lines or is someone making them up for a laugh? Real or made up they are taking aim at someone and whilst I love humour I don't believe it should put others down or make fun of Godly intentions - such as the study of God's Word. So I need to ask who is this mocking - the shallow Christian guys who think more highly of themselves who might be stupid enough to use one of these lines on a girl who if she has enough wisdom would run a mile or are they laughing at those Christian girls who actually do those things - dress modestly, study the Proverbs 31 woman, who do work hard to raise money to go on a missions trip for all the right reasons. My daughter is one of those girls, she worked so hard to raise the money for her missions trip and I feel so bad for her that her desire to serve God and the people He loves is viewed with derision for the sake of a cheap laugh.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha ha ha. I think they are truly funny. I would have so fallen for this as a teenage girl. That's why they are funny. I don't think they are meant to mock. Just tap into the extreme lack of realism that goes on in girls heads before they discover that boys are human too. But that they aren't girls.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh!! I needed that xo
ReplyDeleteomgosh, I haven't laughed that hard in AAAAAGES!!!!! I'm still laughing!
